SECURITY FORCES KILINOCHCHI ORGANIZED AN AWARENESS PROGRAMME OF DRUG PREVENTION
Under direction of Commander of the Army and Directorate of Psychological Operations, Security Forces Kilinochchi organized an awareness programme on 18 and 19 February 2016 regarding drug prevention at Nelumpiyasa auditorium and 65, 66 Division headquarters respectively.\r\n\r\nApproximately 600 military personnel from Security Forces – Kilinochchi area participated in the programme. Participants were made aware regarding real harm of alcohol and tobacco and the industry strategies targeting peoples by using the media. The programme was concluded successfully and participants were educated to carry out future drug prevention activities.\r\n\r\nMr. Indika Rajapaksha – Senior Programme Officer and Mr. Mahesh Nissanka Of Alcohol and Drug Information Centre (ADIC), Colombo conducted the program to the participants.\r\n
