As a concept of the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, another newly constructed house was declared opened and bestowed on 12 July 2021 to Mrs. Nagulesapullei kuganeshwari, Konavil west, Kilinochchi in a view of promoting gestures of reconciliation, goodwill and harmony.
Financial and Manpower assistance has been extended by troops of the 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment under close supervision of Commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Milroy Dias. Further, they managed to provide required household furniture, appliances, dry ration packs, fresh vegetables and stationery packs for children’s use.
Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Forces-Kilinochchi as the Chief Guest at the house-warming occasion. In that he highly appreciated the troops who completely contributed to the construction of this house. Further, Divisional Secretary Karachchi. GN Konavil Division, General Officer Commanding of 57 Infantry Division Major General Priyantha Jayawardana, Commander 571 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Dammika Welagedara, Commander 573 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Manoj Madurpperuma and several others also participated to the event, adhering all Covid-19 preventive measures.
