Troops of Security Forces Kilinochchi assisted the senior citizens of the Kilinochchi District to receive pension payments from banks by CTB and Army buses on 10 and11 June 2021.
The gesture, a novel project of the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army General Shavendra Silva was meant to help those aged pensioners who have turned helpless due to imposition of travel Restriction in respective residential areas.
This programme was launched under the close supervision of the Commander, Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe.
