A SINGLE PINT CAN SAVE THREE LIVES, A SINGLE GESTURE CAN CREATE A MILLION SMILES
Giving blood is a valuable charitable purpose and is in line to grow mutually in collaboration with the public with this intention, 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organized a Blood Donation Campaign under the supervision of Brigadier Anura Sudasinghe, General Officer Commanding – 57 Division on 14 June 2016 at Harmony Center Kilinochchi with the collaboration of Blood Bank, District Hospital Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\n148 military personnel were participated in this charity programme and donated 130 pints of blood to the Blood Bank of District Hospital - Kilinochchi. Brigadier Anura Sudasinghe, General Officer Commanding – 57 Division, Colonel Azad Izaden Commander – 572 Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Sujeewa Perera Commanding Officer - 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Dr. Nadeesha Pattiarchchi Medical Officer – Blood Bank of District Hospital Kilinochchi and military personnel, hospital staff were participated this event. \r\n
