THE SPIRIT OF INNOVATION IN THE CITY OF HARMONY - AN EXHIBITION OF NEW INVENTION AT NELUM PIYASA AUDITORIUM
As per the concept of Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc , the Commander ,Security Forces - Kilinochchi, has resulted with an Invention Exhibition inaugurated on 04 Jul 2016 at 0900 hrs at \"Nelum Piyasa\" auditorium at Iranamadu. This was mainly focusing to enhance the inventive skills and capabilities of soldiers who are serving under Security Force Kilinochchi AOR. \r\n\r\nThe Invention Exhibition was declared open by Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc, the Commander of Security Force Kilinochchi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr.Arumenayagam, District Secretary - Kilinochchi, and many other senior officers , priests of all religions and more than 600 of School children also attended the inauguration ceremony of the invention exhibition and visited the creations. \r\n\r\nThe competition was judged by Prof Kandasami and Prof Raviraj who represented the University of Jaffna and the first place goes to the product portrayed intelligent traffic control model integrated with proximity centers invented by 7 SLLI. The price for runner up goes to gravity assisted water pump invented by 7 SLNG and the third place won by eco friendly kolapath plate making machine with five different moulds produced by 6 (V) SLAWC.
