TREE PLANTING EVENT FOR CELEBRATING WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
As per the concept of His Excellency the President Maithripala Sirisena, The week from 30 May 2016 to 05 June 2016 had been marked as \" National Environment Week\". Hence, According to the guidance of Major General Amal Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi. A tree planting event was took place in Security Forces Headquarters premises on 31 May 2016, Celebrating World Environment Day.\r\n\r\nThe Brigadier General Staff, Security Forces - Kilinochchi Brigadier R M P J Ratnayake RSP USP chaired the remarkable occasion and all the Officers and Other Rankers were attended to plant trees.
