TROOPS OF SECURITY FORCES KILINOCHCHI ENCOURAGE TO BE NEW INVENTORS
In the process of development, the human mind and innovations play a significant role. Thus, every country recognizes the importance of encouraging to invention, innovations, research, creations simultaneously protects the intellects of its people. Sri Lanka Army too has introduced a number of innovation exhibitions and programmes to develop innovations while offering protection to the country. \r\n\r\nAs per the guidance of Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Security Forces Headquarters – Kilinochchi had organized an awareness programme about New Innovation to the military personnel in Kilinochchi area on 12 October 2016 at SFHQ (KLN) Auditorium. \r\n \r\nThe awareness programme was enriched by Mr. A H Piyasiri, Deputy Director General – Sri Lanka National Engineering and Development and Mr. Ajith Wanniarachchi, Intelligence Officer of Sri Lanka National Intelligence Bureau. During the lecture, participants realized that inventions, innovations minimize the unnecessary effort that people put to have their works done. \r\n\r\nColonel General Staff - Security Forces Headquarters (Kilinochchi) together with other Senior Officers and over 100 participants, comprising of Officers and Other Ranks serving under Security Forces (Kilinochchi) attended the programme.\r\n
