VISIT THE ARMY BASE HOSPITAL KILINOCHCHI WITH CELEBRATION OF SINHALA AND HINDU NEW YEAR
As per the direction given by the Commander of the Army, Major General Amal Karunasekara, Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi visited the Army Base Hospital, Kilinochchi on 19 April 2016 as reviving age – old practices during the times of Sinhala and Hindu New Year.\r\n \r\nThe Comd – SF (KLN) was warmly welcomed by Officer Commanding of Army Base Hospital on his arrival and briefly presented views about the present situation of hospital. Comd – SF (KLN) rendered his New Year message and parcels of gifts were distributed among patients.\r\n\r\nAs a part of the visit, Comd – SF (KLN) visited to the 1st Special Force Regiment and 2nd Commando Regiment on the same day. The Commander was warmly received by Commanding Officers of respective battalions and presented a comprehensive briefing on their deployments and other military commitments.
