‘ANGAMPORA’ TRAINING FOR KILLINOCHCHI TROOPS

In order to enhance the self - defense techniques, physical strength, endurance, courage and tolerance among the soldiers, Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana Commander Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi & President of Sri Lanka Army Angampora Committee introduced the Angampora training for the Army personnel serving under Security Force Kilinochchi as an initial programme and organized a one month period of ‘Angampora’ training course under the supervision of Sri Lanka Army Angampora Committee.

The Opening ceremony was held at the Nelumpiyasa auditorium and Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana graced the Opening ceremony of the training programme as the Chief Guest along with General Officer Commanding 65 Division, Brigade Commanders, senior Officers and Officers.

Ritigala Sinhakara Parapure Kalakeerthi Kalavibushana Mr. Dewinda Laksiri Ranasinghe and his team voluntarily participating for the entire period to conduct the programme and almost 100 male Army personnel of under command Bn participating for the course.
