A ‘SHRAMADANA’ AT ST. THERESA RROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH

Troops of the 4 Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment of the 574 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi assisted ‘St. Theresa’ Roman Catholic Church Anandapuram to clean and beautify its premises on 16,17and 19 May 2018.

The ‘Shramadana’ programme was organized as a concept of the Commander, Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana and under the supervision of Commander 574.

Around 60 troops voluntarily took part in the ‘Shramadana’ campaign to remove the old building completely, renovate the access road up to the church and beautify the church premises along with the civilians around the area at the request of devotees and church authorities.
