The 10th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps celebrated its proud 10th Anniversary on 24 April 2025. This significant milestone was marked with great reverence, prioritizing religious observances as a central´element of the commemorative events.
As part of the Anniversary Program, lunch was provided for the children at the Meegoda Shanthi Children’s Home, and a Bodhi Pooja was held at the Regimental Centre temple premises to invoke blessings for the fallen heroes, differently-abled war veterans, and all officers, other ranks currently serving in the unit on 21 April 2025.
Subsequently, ceremonial guard of honor and a formal procession were presented to Major AGNS Weerasena psc Commanding Officer of 10th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps, followed by an official lunch on 23 April 2025. After, Cricket tournament featuring four teams from within the unit took place at the Regimental Centre sports ground, culminating in a successful official fellowship gathering at the 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Holiday Resort in the evening on 25 April 2025.
Furthermore, a special celebratory event was held at the same venue for all Warrant Officers and Sergeants on 30 April 2025. These events among several other special features were organized in a grand and dignified manner, making the 10th anniversary celebration a memorable and honorable occasion for the Regiment.
