On 15th May 2025, the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to welfare by donating 40 packets of milk powder to the twin daughters of a NCO currently serving in the 2(V) SLSC. This marks the third consecutive month of support under the initiative designed to assist the NCO, who has become the sole caregiver to his one-year and five-month-old daughters after the tragic loss of their mother.
Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage (President) and Mrs. Kanchana Mendis, representing the Seva Vanitha Branch, took part in the donation event held at the branch office. The contribution aims to ease the financial strain of providing essential nutrition for young children during this challenging time.
