SLCMP SVB CONDUCTS WELFARE DONATION PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN'S HOME

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police in collaboration with the Officer Commanding Troops in Mullaitivu, organized a welfare donation programme at the Children's Home in Puthukudiyiruppu on 30 May 2025.
As part of the programme a nutritious luncheon was provided and essential items were donated for the daily use of the children. The event also included an entertainment session to bring joy to the young residents.
The event was graced by Mrs. Iresha Perera, the President of the Provost Ladies Club, along with members of the Seva Vanitha Branch. Distinguished attendees included the Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General U L J S Perera RSP USP nps psc, Major General R D Sallay ndc, Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Brigadier M M M P Mahesh Kumara, BQA 1 Corps Brigadier R M K A S Rajanayake, BAQ SFHQ (W) Brigadier J S Munasinghe and Lt Col K D N Karunarathne USP SO 1 OC Troops (MLT) along with senior officers, officers, and their families. This meaningful initiative reflects the Corps' commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
