    Under the auspices of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) and guided by the inspiring vision of the e President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the SLCMP, Mrs. Manisha Kothalawala, an educational excursion was thoughtfully organized on 23rd November 2024, to the Dehiwala Zoological Gardens. This initiative was designed to provide a valuable opportunity to enhance the educational experiences of the children of Other Rankers serving within the regiment. The goal was to foster academic growth and a sense of community, allowing these young minds to engage with the wonders of wildlife and nature, while strengthening their ties to the military family.

  • COMMANDER, LOGISTICS COMMAND VISITS THE REGIMENTAL CENTRE

    The Commander, Logistics Command and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, visited the Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 20 November 2024 for the final review of the Administrative Inspection - 2023.

  • SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE SEVA VANITHA BRANCH LAUNCHES ANNUAL BOOK DONATION PROGRAMME

    On 8th November 2024, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police proudly launched its Annual Book Donation Programme at the Regimental Headquarters, aimed at supporting the educational journey of 300 school children of serving Other Ranks and civil workers. The charity event was graced by Mrs. Manisha Kotalawala, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – SLCMP, who served as the main driving force of this noble initiative.

  • HEARTWARMING DONATION PROGRAMME AT ST. LUCAS ELDER’S HOME BY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OF THE SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

    On 26th October 2024, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, in collaboration with the 4th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, organized a charitable donation programme at St. Lucas Elder’s Home in Puththur. The initiative was carried out under the directions of Colonel Commandant Major General SAND Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc and supervised by Brigadier RD Sallay ndc, Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, with guidance from Mrs. Manisha Kotalawala, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. The project was also supported by the Commanding Officer of the 4th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major WDC Siriwardena psc Lsc.

  • SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OF SLCMP AND ROTARACT CLUB OF ROYAL INSTITUTE HOST DONATION PROGRAM AT MIHINDU SETH MEDURA

    The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, together with the Rotaract Club of the Royal Institute in Colombo, organized a donation program at Mihindu Seth Medura, Aththidiya, on 23 October 2024. This initiative aimed to support permanently injured war heroes on their path to recovery and reintegration.

  • BRIGADIER HMSI SENARATH ASSUMES DUTIES AS LOGISTIC COMMANDER OF SFHQ (WEST)

    Brigadier HMSI Senarath assumed duties as the Logistic Commander of Security Forces Headquarters (West) on 28 October 2024. In this role, he plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless logistical support to all operational units under SFHQ (West). As a senior Military Police officer, he brings valuable expertise in coordinating the efforts of Combat Service Support Units within the Area of Responsibility, thereby strengthening operational readiness and contributing to the overall mission success of SFHQ (West).

  • LIEUTENANT COLONEL M.D.S.U.K. WEERASINGHE, USP, PSC ASSUMES DUTIES AS STAFF OFFICER 1 OF THE DIRECTORATE OF PROVOST

    Lieutenant Colonel M D S U K Weerasinghe USP psc, officially assumed duties as the Staff Officer 1 of the Directorate of Provost on 22 October 2024, at the Army Headquarters in Sri Jayewardenepura. In his new role, he will be responsible for assisting the Colonel Provost in implementing policies stipulated by the Provost Marshal on all provost matters across the Sri Lanka Army.
