The Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police held a grand felicitation ceremony on 23 May 2025 in honour of the newly promoted Major General R D Sallay ndc, Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army.
Major General Ramesh Sallay was formally welcomed by Brigadier M M M P Mahesh Kumara, Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. Upon his arrival he was presented with a Guard Turnout at the main entrance. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was subsequently accorded to the senior officer at the Regimental parade square, reflecting the Corps’ respect for his well-deserved achievement.The day's programme also included a group photograph to celebrate the occasion, followed by a cordial gathering with refreshments at the Regimental Officers’ Mess.
Brig A M R Abesinghe ndc, Commander – Logistics Command SFHQ (Central), Brig R M K A S Rajanayake, BAQ – 1 Corps, Brig J S Munasinghe, BAQ – SFHQ (W), council members, senior officers, officers, and other ranks of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police took part in the event.
