REGIMENTAL HEADQUARTERS FELICITATES NEWLY PROMOTED PROVOST MARSHAL

The Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police held a grand felicitation ceremony on 11 August 2025 in honour of the newly promoted Major General A M R Abeysinghe ndc, the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army.

Major General Ravindra Abeysinghe was formally welcomed by Brigadier M M M P Mahesh Kumara, Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. Upon his arrival he was presented with a Guard Turnout at the main entrance. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was subsequently accorded to the senior officer at the Regimental parade square, reflecting the Corps’ respect for his well-deserved achievement. The day's programme also included a group photograph to celebrate the occasion, followed by a cordial gathering with refreshments at the Regimental Officers’ Mess.

Brig J S Munasinghe, BAQ SFHQ (W), Brig E M I Ekanayake, council members, senior officers, officers, and other ranks of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police took part in the event.
