The outgoing Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Brigadier M M M P Mahesh Kumara, undertook official visits to 2 SLCMP, 3 SLCMP, 5 SLCMP, 7 SLCMP and the School of Military Police. The itinerary started with Ceremonial Guard Turnouts presented in honour of the Centre Commandant and planting of saplings at each establishment.
During his addresses, the Centre Commandant emphasized the importance of upholding the highest standards of discipline and military bearing. He further highlighted that the welfare of soldiers must remain a top priority, recognizing it as an essential for maintaining a cohesive and operationally effective force. In his concluding remarks, he commended the vital role of Military Police personnel in enforcing discipline and maintaining the decorum of the Sri Lanka Army. He also extended his sincere gratitude to all SLCMP personnel who supported him during his tenure.
The visit was graced by senior officers, officers and other ranks of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.
