Message from the Commandant

I am greatly delighted to commune through the website of the Sri Lanka Military Academy which makes an opening for the past and present students, officer/other rank instructors and enthusiast of the field specially the military professionals both local and foreign. Moreover, keen Web browsers are facilitated with the up dated photographic information of important events taken place at the Academy.

Sri Lanka, as a country has now begun its triumphant journey towards a new era exclusively focusing on nation building and modernization in par with other countries in the Continent. To help achieve this the Sri Lanka Military Academy has set before it the consecrated aim of bestowing efficient leaders on its motherland which indeed is a complex task composed of an extremely extensive scope. Thus, the Academy over the years has absolutely accomplished its mission in creating worthy Military Leaders and continues to do so even more intently at present. Therefore, it could be assuredly stated that the Officer Cadets who are undergoing training at the Academy at present; will without doubt carry out their entrusted duties and augment the nation’s effort in taking Sri Lanka to the desired degree.
