Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment bid farewell to outgoing Colonel of the Regiment Major General AP de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc on 2nd September 2018 who retired after serving more than 35 years in the regular force of the Sri Lanka Army. Ceremony was held its customary way at Regimental Headquarters Ambepussa.

Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Tuesday (17) evening threw a red carpet welcome to the Col of the Regt Maj Gen Piyal Wickramaratne who graced the Sinha prestigious Colours Night - 2018 session two spectacle as the day’s Chief Guest at the invitation of Brig. Ajith Pallawela, Centre Commandant Regimental Centre, Ambepussa.
The Col of the Regt on arrival was welcomed by Centre Commandant and ushered to the main venue in the company of the Maj Gen Duminda Keppetiwalana , Maj Gen Laksiri Waduge and few Senior Officers.
