Kids at ASVU Managed Minneriya Pre-School Blossom Showing Sports Talents

Kids at ‘Viru Kekulu’ pre-school, Minneriya got together to hold their annual Sports Meet at the Infantry Square Playground in Minneriya on Friday (23).

All the students in the pre-school took part in a variety of games and sports, including ‘Floor Dance’, ‘Green Zig Zag’, ‘Lion King’, ‘Honey Bee’, etc. A separate fun-making event for kids too added colour to the event.

Mrs Shiromi Liyanage, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Armoured Corps - Seva Vanitha Unit (SLA-SVU) of Sri Lanka Signal Corps graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and was welcomed by a kid giving her a bouquet of flowers.

Then, the Chief Guest was accompanied to the playground by Mrs Priyamali Muddannayake, the officer in charge of Seva Vanitha pre-school projects.

Senior members of the SVU, teachers of the pre-school and parents of the kids witnessed the day's event. The day’s event, filled with fun and sports ended with a band display and a physical training display.

The Chief Guest gave away prizes to the kids who participated in the day’s events.
