The United Nations Military Observer Course No 01 which commenced on 25th February 2019 was successfully completed on 22nd March 2019. The course was consisted with 37 student officers including 3 female officers and it has been designed to gain practical and theoretical knowledge for all student officers in performing duties as a Military Observer under the United Nations flag. Further, the course was consisted of three-day outdoor exercise which offered immense knowledge to the student officers, specially on working under stressful conditions on the ground with numerous difficulties. As a customary, the closing remarks was delivered by the Commandant of the IPSOTSL, Brigadier PI Pathirathne.
