Laying of foundation stone was done at the auspicious time on 11th of May 2024 for a house to be constructed by 12 Infantry Division for another needy family. Mr. Asanka Dilip Priyadarshana of 4 members with 2 children, lives in Viharamahadevipura Grama Niladari Division at Hambantota District is the beneficiary of this house. Mr. G. Korathota form Pannipitiya provided finical assistance for this meritorious work.

11 Infantry Division troops showing their concern for human welfare erected a new house for a needy family in Galdhanda, Welimada area with sponsorship provided by General Deshamanya J.E Denis Perera VSV ndc psc, one of the former Army Commander’s family, under the coordination of Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division. The new house was vested in the beneficiary on 15 April 2024 during a brief ceremony.
