In line with the 10th Anniversary celebrations, troops of Security Force Headquarters (Central) conducted a cleanup drive at the premises of Diyatalawa Ayurvedic Hospital on 10 March 2023. The program was organized on the directions of major General Mohan Rathnayake RWP RSp USP ndu Commander Security Force (Central) in response for the request made by Dr. Mrs Thushari Wanniarachchi, Director of Diyatalawa Ayurvedic Hospital. A number of 50 troops conducted the cleanup drive.

The troops of 23rd Battalion the Gajaba Regiment under Security Force (Central) received a new Bathroom and Sanitary Complex building on 03 March 2023. The essential infrastructure facility was constructed on the guidance of Lieutenant Colonel K A S Gunawardena RWP RSP USP, Commanding Officer of 23 Gajaba Regiment, and was erected expending Army funds.

At least 33 youths, 31 young males and 02 females, who were reported missing after getting lost while on a hike to Gerandigala Mountain of the Knuckles mountain range in Ududumbara, have been rescued safely by the troops of 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps in the evening on Sunday, 19 February 2023. The group of youths who had gone on a hike to the mountain was unable to return due to heavy rain and fog.
