    On the guidelines given by the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, the Army Buddhist Association and the Security Force HQ-West on account of the 'Poson' commemoration jointly distributed 500 dry ration packs among poor families and Buddhist temples in the area on Wednesday (3) June 2020.

  • SOWING PADDY BEGINS IN PANALUWA THUNNANA AREA

    The land extends for almost 4 acres owned by the Army in order to sow paddy varieties.

  • SFHQ-West Coordinates Donation of Dry Rations to Buddhist University

    Troops of the Security Force HQ-West offered their coordination and assistance for supply of a large stock of dry and fresh rations, adequate for 89 foreign Buddhist monks and student monks, resident at Homagama Buddhist and Pali University, following joint sponsorship provided by owner of S.K Munasinghe Motors, Lion Mahinda Perera, President 306/C/01 District Lions Club and the ‘Bosath Aryashrawaka’ Foundation.
