  • 27th UNIT ANNIVERSARY OF 2 SLCMP

    As the inauguration of the 27th Anniversary of 2 SLCMP, the Commanding Officer Lt Col EMI Ekanayaka, all Officers, all SNCOs, NCOs have worshiped the Somawathi Viharaya on 29 September 2018. In that occasion 1000 Buddha statues offering, 1000 water chalices offering, 1000 medicine offering, 1000 flower offering, 1000 lantern offering, red colored robe offering, electrical light offering has been conducted on 30th September 2018. The Buddha statues have been distributed within civilians.

    According to the aspiration of the Commander of SFHQ – Jaffna. A selection competition to improve compeering skills of the serving all member in the area of SFHQ (J).
    Acquiring a great glory for the Regiment. L/Cpl Peris BHY from 4th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police won the second place out of 300 competitors in the final round conducted at the SFHQ (J) on 16 September 2018.

  • HANDING OVER THE PRESIDENT CEREMONIAL GUARD TO SL NAVY

    The Sri Lanka Corps of the Military Police conducted ceremonial guard HE the President from 01 October 2018 representing the Sri Lanka Army. The Ceremonial duties were officially handed over to the Sri Lanka Navy on 01 October 2016 at the President's House.

  • SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY HELD

    Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police held their Officers’ Training Day on 19 September 2018 at Regimental Headquarters as per the directives of 2nd Sri Lanka Corps of Military police. The Training Day commenced with Physical Training and Drill sessions. Afterwards, Maj KT Randika, conducted a Individual presentation on – “Suggestions and Recommendations for the improvement of Investigation in SLCMP with the modern Investigation Techniques and Equipments” at the Officers’ Mess. Meanwhile, Maj WDNC Kulathilake, Capt GIAK De Silva, Capt SADS Samarasinghe, Capt AARM Fernando, Capt RMSN Rathnayake conducted a Group presentation on - “Impact of Social Media to the Society and how it is effected to the Sri Lanka Army’’.
