The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) successfully organized a Poson Dansela near the Ambepussa Railway Station on Poson Poya Day, from 1000 to 1200 hrs under the guidance of Major General J K R Jayakody RWP USP, Deputy Commander of Security Force Headquarters (West) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), with the supervision of Brigadier H A I Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, Centre Commandant of SLSR. Mrs. Indunil Jayakody, Chairperson of the SLSR-SVB, also honored the occasion with her presence. The Dansela offered Sinisambal buns and milk coffee to the public and drew a large crowd, with approximately 2,000 people benefiting from the event.

A Blood Donation Program was successfully held on 06 June 2025 at the Regimental Center, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Ambepussa, in conjunction with the Poson Full Moon Poya Day. This initiative was launched based on a concept by Mrs. Indunil Jayakody, Chairperson of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch. The event was further graced by the presence of the Deputy Commander of Security Forces Headquarters (West) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Siinha Regiment, Major General JKR Jayakody RWP USP.

Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment bade formal farewell to retiring Brigadier S K M M N K Mahanthe KSP and Brigadier W T M P S Bandara after dedicating over 34 years of invaluable service to the organization in a fitting ceremony which took place on 31 May 2025 at Regimental Centre, Ambepussa.
