Major General PKWWMJSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division handed over a newly constructed house for a deserving family at Ranakeliya - Tissamaharamaya on 10 October 2024. The initiative was commenced in line with the 75 Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army and the financial support was generously provided by Mrs Chandrani Jayasooriya, while troops from 12 Gajaba Regiment extended their manpower and technical expertise for this community project.

Two Shramadana Campaigns were conducted by the troops of 3rd Battalion Sri Lanka National Guards on 05th and 06th October 2024, coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army. During the project troops cleaned the premises of Beliatta Ihala Beligalla Rathnayake Elders’ Home and Kataragama Government Elders’ home.01X15 troop partic parted for this progrumme

To mark the World Children’s Day, with sponsorship provided by Old Boys’ Association (Australian Branch) of Kalutara Vidyalaya which was coordinated by Maj Amith Pushpakumara SLA, 30 students of Munasinghe Primary School and 175 students of Helagama Primary School in Monaragala District were participated for the program on 01 October 2024. The distribution of school shoes and accessories for each student was took place at Helagama Primary School premises.
