With the coordination of both Army personnel of 6 Field Regiment, Sri Lanka Artillery belonging to the 141 Infantry Brigade under command of the 14 Infantry Division of Security Forces (West) and the ‘MAS LEGATO’ organization, painted and renovated the library building of Yatawaka Primary School located in Urapola and also donated essential books worth of Rs.60,000.00 and a new photocopier worth of Rs. 120,000.00 for the library, on 09 December 2022.

The Army Inter Regiment Badminton Championship, held from 01 Dec to 06 Dec at Army Gymnasium - Panagoda had its finals on 06 December 2022, amidst a large crowd of spectators. Players from 19 Regiments vied in 22 competitive events for supremacy during the championship.

It was organized by the 144 Infantry Brigade on the direction of the General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division Major General J M R N K Jayamanna RWP and under close supervision of the Commander 144 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier K M V Kodithuwakku at 144 Infantry Brigade Headquarters premises.
