An engaging and insightful lecture titled "A Military Life without Addiction" was successfully delivered at the Regimental Headquarters Main Lecture Hall on 08 June 2025. Accordingly, this program was implemented on the instructions of the Chief Signal Officer and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps. At the invitation of the Colonel Commandant of the Signal Corps, Major Prasad Peduru Arachchi Psychologist, Army Mental Health Unit, Army Hospital Colombo, participated in this lecture as a guest speaker. This intellectual lecture was conducted to improve the knowledge and mental health of officers and other ranks. A total of 198 troops, including the Deputy Centre Commandant senior officers and other ranks including Regimental Sergeant Major participated in the lecture.

The Sri Lanka Signal Corps witnessed a momentous occasion on 21 May 2025, as it hosted a felicitation ceremony to honor the distinguished service and promotion of a Brigadier. Among the esteemed officer recognized in the Army was Brigadier NPA Mendis USP psc. The event, held at the regimental headquarters, marked a significant milestone in his career and underscored the dedication and commitment of this officer to the Sri Lanka Signal Corps.

On 15th May 2025, the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, led by its President Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, organized a clothing distribution initiative to support the daughters of military and civilian personnel attached to the Sri Lanka Corps of Signals. Targeting girls aged 10 to 14, the event featured frocks and blouses personally crafted by Mrs. Liyanage, intended to assist families facing financial challenges.

On 15th May 2025, the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to welfare by donating 40 packets of milk powder to the twin daughters of a NCO currently serving in the 2(V) SLSC. This marks the third consecutive month of support under the initiative designed to assist the NCO, who has become the sole caregiver to his one-year and five-month-old daughters after the tragic loss of their mother.

On 14th May 2025, the President of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, along with Mrs. Kanchana Mendis and Mrs. Asha Dissanayake visited the family of a NCO from the 4 SLSC. The visit was intended to extend compassion and support to a NCO, whose four-month-old son is currently battling a severe lung condition.

Continuing their outreach efforts, the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, led by Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage (President- SLSC SVB) and Mrs. Kanchana Mendis, visited the family of a civilian worker serving in the 11 SLSC, on 14th May 2025. His wife is currently suffering from a severe nerve disorder, posing a significant financial and emotional burden on the family.

On 9th May 2025, Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, President of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, extended heartfelt support to the family of a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC). The officer’s wife had recently undergone surgery for a lumbar disc prolapse which is a condition that had caused her immense pain over several months.
