  • PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS – MAJOR DMACDP ABEYWICKR AMA Lsc

    Major DMACDP Abeywickrama Lsc SLSC recently graduated from the prestigious Logistics Staff Course, conducted at the Army School of Logistics, Kuldana, Pakistan. This intensive course was conducted from 17 February 2025 to 04 July 2025. He was concurrently awarded postgraduate diplomas in Supply Chain Management from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad and Material Management from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad securing a cumulative grade A in both. Notably, Major DMACDP Abeywickrama has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first signal officer from Corps of Signals to attain this overseas logistics staff qualification.

  • Signal Corps Rugby Team Advances, Defeating SLEME in Tournament Opener

    The first match of the 2025 Army Inter-Regimental Rugby Tournament was successfully held on 23 June 2025 at the Sri Lanka Army Rugby Ground in Panagoda. The Sri Lanka Signal Corps faced off against the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) in a competitive opening encounter.

  • Distribution of Jerseys to the Signal Corps Rugby Squad

    A jersey distribution program for 35 players and coaches of the Signal Regiment Rugby Squad was held at the Regimental Conference Hall on 16 June 2025, following the directives of the Chief Signal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps, Major General Sajith Liyanage USP nps psc.

  • Assuming of Duties by the 25th Regimental Sergeant Major

    Warrant Officer 1 W.A.R. Madusanka USP (S/279658) officially assumed duties as the 25th Regimental Sergeant Major of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 12 June 2025 at the Signal Regimental Centre, Panagoda. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps, Major General G.L.S.W. Liyanage USP nps psc.

    Warrant Officer 1 K.A.D.N. Karunarathna USP, the 24th Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps, retired from active service on 12 June 2025, after 22 years of dedicated service to the Corps and the Sri Lanka Army.

  • CONDUCTED A LECTURE ON "A MILITARY LIFE WITHOUT ADDICTION"

    An engaging and insightful lecture titled "A Military Life without Addiction" was successfully delivered at the Regimental Headquarters Main Lecture Hall on 08 June 2025. Accordingly, this program was implemented on the instructions of the Chief Signal Officer and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps. At the invitation of the Colonel Commandant of the Signal Corps, Major Prasad Peduru Arachchi Psychologist, Army Mental Health Unit, Army Hospital Colombo, participated in this lecture as a guest speaker. This intellectual lecture was conducted to improve the knowledge and mental health of officers and other ranks. A total of 198 troops, including the Deputy Centre Commandant senior officers and other ranks including Regimental Sergeant Major participated in the lecture.
