The Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier R D Sallay ndc visited the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (3 SLCMP) - Galkulama on 22 May 2024. This was his maiden visit to the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police after assuming duties as the Provost Marshal.

S/678878 Warrant Officer II Dulan K A S - 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (5 SLCMP) took part the Javelin Throw F44 Category event. Bringing to the glamour and the fame to SLCMP, Sri Lanka Army and the entire nation, Warrant Officer 11 Dulan secured the runners up by throwing a spear for the distance of 66.49 meters thus awarded with the Silver medal and set a new world record on 21 May 2024.
