The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) bade a farewell to the outgoing Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army (SL Army) and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc with military honours and greetings in a formal ceremony held at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Polhengoda on 02 May 2024.

Under the guidance of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the directorate of Provost organized the training programme on Complain Handling and Prosecution from on 25 March 2024 to 29 April 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police with the participation of 06 x Officers and 62 x eligible Non Commissioned Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

The Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army (SL Army) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP), Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc made the final official visits to 1 SLCMP, 5 SLCMP and Special Investigation Unit on 29 April 2024 prior to his retirement. While standing on the eve of retirement, the senior Officer undertook courtesy visits to under command units which are located at Polhengoda to pay gratitude to all Officers and Other Ranks of SLCMP.

The Marrakech 2024 World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Morocco, kicked off from 21st to 30th April 2024. S/678878 Warrant Officer II Dulan K A S - 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (5 SLCMP) took part the Javelin Throw F44 Category event. Bringing to the glamour and the fame to SLCMP, Sri Lanka Army and the entire nation, Warrant Officer 11 Dulan secured the championship by throwing a spear for the distance of 65.57 meters thus awarded with the Gold medal on 28 April 2024.

The programme itinerary consisted with the war heroes commemoration held on 22 March 2024 at 2nd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Giritale , a pirith chanting and alms giving programme held at Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 27 March 2024 followed by a ceremonial parade and musical evening held on 19 April 2024 at the camp premises.

The formal farewell dinner with a profound sense of gratitude and camaraderie was held at the Officers Mess of the Regimental Centre on 8th April 2024.
