In a display of unmatched skill and determination, the Sri Lanka Army emerged victorious in the prestigious 84th Annual Two Mile Sea Swim Championship, held from 15th March 2024 to 16th March 2024 at Mount Lavinia Beach. Attending the event alongside the other Military Police swimmers, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police showcased the Military Police dominance in the Sri Lanka Army Aquatic Sports team.

To cover the Mullaitivu AOR and to perform the operational Military Police tasks, an organization by the name of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Officer Commanding Troops - Mullaitivu was established at auspicious time on 16 January 2024.

The Eliyakanda Speed Hill Climb Super Cross - 2024" , organized by the Southern Motor Sports Club was held on 24 and 25 February 2024 at the Picturesque Browns Hill, Matara. More than 120 stunt riders competed in various event under different categories. In a significant display of Inter-Service collaboration and camaraderie, a provost Cadet Officer from the Sri Lanka Air Force Officer Cadet Intake No. 67 paid an educational visit to the Regimental Headquarter - Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 22nd February 2024. Squadron Leader I L Jayathilaka, Officer Cadet K D R Fernando and 2 x NCOs from the SLAF Provost Branch arrived at the SLCMP Headquarters to foster closer ties and exchange insights on various aspects of military policing.
