Seva Vanitha Unit of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organized a scholarship programme for children in the families of disabled, dead war heroes and civil employees on Saturday (25) at Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment auditorium on the directions of President Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Priyamali Mudannayake, Major General Manoj Mudannayake Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment also graced the occasion.

It was started the soil-cutting at the auspicious minute and laid the foundation stone by Lieutenant Colonel Dilantha Jayawardena, General Staff Officer I of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment for construction of a new holiday bungalow at Regimental Headquarters SLSR premises, amidst blessings of ‘Seth Pirirth’ of the Maha Sangha on Thursday (30) morning.

Inter Regiment Combat Firing Meet – 2019 was held at Diyathalawa 1000 m firing range from 14 December to 22 December 2019. There were 31 combat teams from all the Regiments of SL Army. Each team was consisted with 05 Officers and 05 Other Ranks.

The "Lions Victoria View" Officers' Holiday Bungalow was ceremonially opened by Brigadier Ajith Pallawela RWP RSP, the Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, on 10 December 2019 with the invitation of Major RRS Dehigala, the Commanding Officer of 5(v) SLSR.
