In response to a request made by Siri Perakumba Maha Vidyalaya located at Lunugama, Dompe, Army personnel of the 8 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry under the 141 Infantry Brigade of the 14 Infantry Infantry Division extended their support to the training of students for the sports meet parade as well as provided referees to the school in order to judge the sports events from 24 February to 02 March 2023.

In view of the miserable living condition of a family consisting of a father, mother and four children residing in the Kurikotuwa Grama Niladari Division of Veyangoda, 141 Infantry Brigade troops of the 14 Infantry Division under the Security Force (West) provided dry rations, worth about 15000/= at their expense as a community project.
