Due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions, a landslide occurred on 19 November 2025 in the early hours of the morning between Idalgashinna and Ohiya Railway Stations, located near the Haputale Railway Station within the Area of Responsibility of Security Force Headquarters (Central). As a result, the railway line was completely obstructed.

The Cub Scout Day organized by the Kandy District Scout Branch in conjunction with the 17th Kanboree was held on 16.01.2025 at 0830 hours at Bogambara Stadium with the participation of 4500 cub scouts.
