Newly appointed Logistics Commander was warmly welcomed by Colonel G H A I Wijerathne RWP RSP of Logistics Command (Cen). Following the Military traditions, troops of the 7 SLCMP accorded a Guard Turnout and newly appointed Logistics Commander (Cen) Signed an official document at the auspicious time amidst the Pirith chanting by Maha Sanga to signify this remarkable Event. New Logistics Commander planted a sapling at the Headquarters premises to mark this special day

The Prefects' Induction Ceremony 2025 of SWRD Bandaranayaka National School - Kundasale was held on 23rd May 2025 at 1300 hours in the school auditorium. As per to the formal invitation made by the principal of the school, Maj General K A U Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG, the Divisional Commander of 11 Inf Div graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Under the 11 Infantry Division of SFHQ (Central), the Vesak Festival was celebrated in a charming and devotional manner with beautifully crafted Vesak lanterns adorning the entire area, in commemoration of the Birth, Enlightenment and the ‘Parinirwana’ of Lord Buddha. These decorations were organized by the troops under command to 11 Infantry Division. The 111 Infantry Brigade Headquarters organized a Vesak festival in Doluwa area in Kandy, in collaboration with general public and civil organizations, which included a stunning Vesak lantern exhibition, a Buddhist devotional song program, and a Dansala for approximately 5,000 people. The 642 Infantry Brigade Headquarters extended its fullest support to the successful implementation of the ‘National Vesak Zone’ Program organized at Nuwara Eliya. Additionally, other brigade headquarters under the 11 Infantry Division were also organized various events in their respective areas.

In line with the concept of Sri Lanka Army social welfare initiatives, musical instruments distribution program was conducted at Kirindagama primary school at Tissamaharama on 10 May 2025 under the patronage of 12th Battalion Gajaba Regiment under the 122 Infantry Brigade Headquarters. The musical instruments had been donated by Professor Nimal Rajapaksha, Major General Lal Gunasekara(Retd), Major General Priyantha Senaratne(Retd), Mr. Chanaka Kalansuriya and Mr. Niraj Muthukuda.
