As per the concept of Major General K A U Kodituwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding 11 Infantry Division, the ‘SENKADAGALA VIRU NADA AND RANGASOBA’ final competition for selecting the Best Singer, Best Dancer and the most skilled military/general knowledge personnel from the selected teams, was held on 13th February 2025 at 1600 hours onward at the Pallekelle Provincial Council Auditorium Complex Hall. The event was conducted in an exceptionally high standard and large number of senior officers, officers, other ranks, their family members were present from the 11 Infantry Division and under command units.

The 12 Infantry Division Conducted a beach cleaning programme as part of the “Clean Sri Lanka Programme” with the close coordinating with government officials of Hambanthota. The event was conducted covering to Clean the coastal line from Hambanthota to Tangalle. General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division given the guidance and program was mainly focusing removal of garbage and beach cleaning on 09 February 2025 with 06 x 175 military personnel including Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks, together with members of local communities and over 300 civilians took part in the event.
