With the directions of the Commander Security Force (East), Major General Senarath Bandara, 232 Brigade coordinated a donation programme of dry ration packs, kitchen equipment and bedding items for 50 needy families during a ceremony held at Shalika Hall Dehiaththakandiya on 23 June 2020. The sponsors were coordinated by the General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division Major General Dhammika Jayasundara and Colonel General Staff SFHQ(E) Colonel Subath Sanjeewa under the auspices of Dr. Gayan Wedawatta UK, Dr. Nilupa Udawatta, Australia, Ms Avanthi Angammana, UK, Ms Iroshini Dassanayake, Australia, Mr. & Mrs A.
