Meanwhile, they conducted medical campaigns for the affected people belonging to 320 families in Dalugoda (East) 1, Dalugoda (East) 2, Dalugoda (East) 3, Dalugoda (West) and Dalugoda (Cen) GN Divisions and 270 families in Narangala, Pahala Witiyala and Karagoda GN Divisions.

61 Infantry Division joined the 74th Anniversary celebrations of Sri Lanka Army on 10th October 2023. A formal ceremony was held at the Division headquarters headed by the General Officer Commanding 61 Infantry Division Major General RAJN Ranasinghe RSP USP ndc along with officers, other ranks and civil staff. The function commenced with the flag hoisting followed by the recital of the Army Song, Saluting the fallen war heroes with a two-minute silence and conveying the message of the Commander of the Army, adding sentiments of patriotism and grandeur to the occasion.

In parallel to the 74th Army Day celebration with the aim of developing harmony between the Army and the civilian population, on the direction of the Commander Security Forces Headquarters (West) under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division under the close supervision of the Commander 141 Infantry Brigade with the commanding officer 6 Sri Lanka Artillery, a Shramadana Campaign was organized at the Wathupitiwala Government Hospital premises on 10 October 2023.

Due to the torrential rain that fell with the activation of the South West Monsoon on 06.10.2023,upon the request made by the Divisional Secretariat Gampaha,141 Brigade troops rushed in the removal of several trees in danger of topping onto a house as the result of collapse of a mound behind the respective house located in 341B ,Horagolla ,Ganemulla of Horagolla North GN Dicision belongs to Gampaha DS under 141 infantry Brigade AOR .
